THE JANUARY LUNCHEON EVENT
The Port of Camas-Washougal and both Cities look to create an Economic Development Association
Please join the Camas-Washougal Chamber of Commerce for the Luncheon event on Thursday, January 20th at Camas Meadows Golf Course. The doors open at 11:30 for networking with the program starting at noon. The cost is $15/Member, $20/Non-members (who are welcome to attend any two event before joining). David Scott (Washougal City Administrator), Lloyd Halverson (Camas City Administrator) and David Ripp (Port of Camas-Washougal Executive Director: PICTURED TO LEFT) will be giving an presentation on the Cities and Port’s initiative to develop an east Clark County economic development association. The primary objective of the association will be to assist the Partners in establishing the Camas-Washougal Economic Development Association (CWEDA) and to develop and implement an Economic Development Plan to promote the economic vitality of the Camas/Washougal area. The emphasis will be on business retention and recruitment for our industrial districts and commercial areas, downtown, and the general promotion of economic development and activity.
