A Family Celebration of Celtic Music and Dancing!
CPAS is pleased to once again present the dancing hammers and pulsating strings of one of the Northwest?s favorite Celtic ensembles ? Magical Strings. Philip and Pam Boulding and family create the distinctive music with Celtic harps and hammered dulcimers colorfully augmented by pennywhistles, concertina, vahila (Malagasy harp) and storytelling. Audiences are captivated by their energetic arrangements of Celtic music and their own engaging compositions, intertwining Celtic roots with classical/world music influences. Rounding out the Celtic celebration of music and storytelling, enjoy the lightning feet of the Raney Irish Dancers as they accompany the Boulding family?s lively arrangements of jigs and reels.
