West Columbia Gorge Humane Society is an independent, 501(c)(3) non-profit, no-kill, animal shelter locatied at the Port of Camas/Washougal, right off of Highway 14. Established in 1994 with programs and services carried out by a mostly volunteer staff, we are dedicated to caring for animals and finding loving homes for each one. We operate an extensive foster program, cat shelter, dog shelter and other programs to help animals in the local community. Our mission is to eliminate unnecessary euthanasia of healthy or treatable companion animals in the community and find them permanent, loving homes.
